Genevieve Louise (Tompson) Stanard
STANARD Genevieve Louise (Tompson) Stanard, 88, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2011, at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa where she had been a resident since 2006. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2011, at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Genevieve was a long time resident of the Kansas City/Overland Park communities. She spent her working years at Great Lakes Pipeline Co. and Western Missouri Mental Health Center until her retirement in 1984. Genevieve was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank D. Stanard; brother, Edward Darrell Roche; daughter, Shirley Louise Adden. Genevieve leaves her love and memories to her daughter, Sharon L. Mays (John Patrick); six grandchildren, Denise Louise (Adden) Antonich (Thomas), Frank Mays (Beth), Kevin Mays (Tamra), Pam (Mays) Bloom (Steve), David Adden, Daniel Adden (Stacey); 13 great grandchildren, Amy Louise Antonich, Jennifer Lynn Antonich, Katy Ann (Antonich) Hudspeth (Michael), Chloe Danielle Mays, Parker John Mays, Madison Laurie Bloom, John Patrick (Jack) Mays, Layne Rebecca Mays, Michael William Adden, Jacob Steven (Jake) Bloom, Benjamin Christian Mays, Kylie Lisbeth Adden, Katelyn Louise Adden; and 2 great great grandchildren, Bree Clara Hudspeth and Colton Michael Hudspeth.
