Mrs. Velma Klingler

Velma L. Klingler, 85, Olathe, Kan., passed away January 22, 2010. Family and friends will be received for a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010, at King of Kings Church, 306 E. Madison, Gardner, KS 66030. Interment in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Olathe Hospice. Velma was born February 8, 1924, to Loyd and Wanda Eaton, and lived in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Westport High School. On June 13, 1942, she married Oliver Klingler and moved to Lenexa, Kan. From there they moved several places including Olathe, Ottawa, Lawrence, Overland Park, and Gardner. She was an avid motorcycle rider and quilter. She is survived by two sons, Butch Klingler and George Klingler, and a daughter, Sharon Williams; a sister, Beverly Woods; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Arrangements: D.W.
