Verniece (Burr) Tester
Burr was born March 1, 1908 and died March 28, 2008.
She was born to Albert and Emma Lane, the fifth child of eight. She and her brother, Herbert, lived to be over one hundred. She was preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters and husband Clifford. After leaving Fort Scott, Kansas, Burr worked for Western Auto in Kansas City for many years. She was a loving and caring Aunt and a friend to many.
She is survived by nephews Don McFarland, David Lane, Larry Lane, Dennis Lane and niece, Marcia Lasater, as well as many great nephews and nieces and great great nephews and nieces. She will be missed as she always had a quick smile and a twinkle in her eye.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 25 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf.
