Verneta Mae McAninch, 74, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 at home. Cremation. Inurnment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Blackbob Rd., Olathe, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Kansas City Hospice.
Verneta was born on October 31, 1933 in Houston, Missouri. She was a loving wife, sister and especially a mother. She was preceded in death by her husband and grandson. Survivors include five children, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild.
