Vicki L. Shirk, 81, Shawnee, Kansas passed away Wednesday March 18, 2009. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 21, 2009 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Interment in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the charity of your choice, for the folks in need.
Survivors include Vicki’s sister, Marion Coppenbarger; sons, Tom Shirk, wife Kathleen, and Wayne Shirk, wife Janet; 7 grandchildren: Ann, David, Clare, Michael, Stephen, W. Michael and Wendy; and 6 great grandchildren: Emma (Rose), Sadie (Lady), Luke, Katherine (Kitty), Alexander (Zander), and Dagny.
