Vicki J. Warner, age 59, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home from a long battle with multiple myeloma. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 17th at Shawnee Bible Church, 12921 W. 61st Street, Shawnee, KS 66216. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 16th at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to IMF (International Myeloma Foundation) or Shawnee Bible Church.
Vicki was born on January 28, 1950 in Topeka, KS. She was active in church. Her hobbies and interests included quilting, crocheting and her family. Vicki’s main interest and occupation was her family. Her special talent, shared whenever possible, was her beautiful voice. She was preceded in death by her parents. Vicki is survived by her husband, Dan; son, Marc (Angie) Warner; daughters, Barb (Tim) Moore and Colleen Warner; eight grandchildren; her sisters, Connie Steinlage, Denise Dennis, DeeDee Schoenberger and Lori Yanez; brothers, Scott Brown, Larry Brown, Wes Brown and Russell Brown.
