COTSWORTH Virginia L. (Stevens) Cotsworth, 55, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007, at her home.
Virginia was born August 17, 1951, in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1969, and married her high school sweetheart in 1970. Virginia was employed by Branded Emblem/Camp David for 20 years. She had an incredible work ethic, loved her job, and thought of her co-workers as family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Stevens in 1997, and her brother Jim Stevens in 2003. Survivors include her husband, Stephen Cotsworth, of the home, her mother, Maxine Stephens, of Shawnee, Kan., her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jeff Jones, of Raytown, Mo., and her beloved kitty, Munchie of the home.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. Inurnment at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, at a later date, will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Pet Connections, 5918 Broadmoor, Mission, KS 66202.
