Virginia Nugent

Virginia M. Nugent, of Overland Park, KS passed away on November 20, 2011. She was born in Ft. Scott, KS, the daughter of LouElla (Strader) and Earl Kelly. Virginia was the owner and operator of La Secret Beauty Supply on the plaza for many years and she volunteered many hours to the Cancer Charity shop in Leawood. Virginia found so much pleasure in dancing and traveling with friends.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick Nugent, of the home; step son, Robert (Carolyn) Hunzicker of Lenexa, KS, Scott (Joan) Nugent of Kingwood, TX, Kent Nugent of KC, MO; one half brother, George Amey of Austin, TX; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Hunzicker; one sister, Doris Chapman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the Camelot Ballroom, 6635 W. 151st St, Overland Park, KS 66223. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6700 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS, 66204.
