Virginia Quigley

Virginia Carrie Quigley, age 95, of Leawood, KS passed away on January 2, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held 2PM Sunday, January 6, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, Kansas. Her final resting place will be with her family at Hubble Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie, KS. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Road Kansas City, MO 64137.
Virginia was born in Arneh, Oklahoma on April 10, 1917. She spent her early life in Wichita, KS where she graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business. Virginia worked at Southwestern Bell in Wichita then transferred as a Supervisor in the Business department to the Kansas City area. She worked there until her retirement in the mid 1970s. Virginia was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Ruth Quigley. Survivors include; her cousins, Donna Cooksey, Sam Conlin, Terrie Weakly and Jerry Quigley.
