V.S. (Woody) Horstmeyer, passed away at home on November 3, 2022.
Woody was born March 22, 1928, in Madison, Wisconsin. He was an Instructor in the Air Force, Flying the AT-6 and P-51 retiring from TWA in 1986 flying the 747.
Woody was an excellent craftsman building many boats, two airplanes and many violins. He was also an accomplished gunsmith.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; Sons: Richard and Eric; and one sister, Faye.
A private service will be held on November 7th at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel.
