Wanda Butler

Wanda E. Butler, 81, passed away on April 11, 2019 in her home. Wanda moved to Kansas City from Ashland, Alabama in 1943 and graduated from Paseo High School in 1956 where she met the love of her life, Jay W. Butler who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Mark (Kristiana), her daughter, Carolyn (Jim), Granddaughter Ashley Hotka (Steven), Grandson James West, Granddaughter Allison West (Ben), and four Great Grandsons, Finnlan, Sullivan, Rowan, Madden Hotka. Wanda loved quilting, sewing, cooking, and above all, time with her family. Wanda was a genuinely caring, sensitive and giving person. She was a gift to us all and she will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 9-10am followed by a service at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
