Wanda Colleen Billings

Wanda Colleen Billings, 83, passed away December 5, 2010. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at D.W. Newcomer’s Johnson County Chapel 11200 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, Kansas 66210. A visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 also in the chapel. Interment will take place in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom who worked alongside her late husband as a bookkeeper for his plumbing business. She was loving, giving, self-sacrificing and sweet natured, she always put her family first. She had a strong Christian faith and looked forward to being in heaven with Jesus and her departed loved ones. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Del Ray Billings; son, Dan Billings; and sister Dawn Jan Tausch. Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Roger) Cissell; daughter, Lori (Richard) McCulley; son, Dave (Debra) Billings; grandchildren, Brian and Brad Dellinger, Leigh Ann and Kyle Billings, Jeff Lee, Taylor and Danielle Billings, Tammy Bills, and Steven Cissell; a niece with whom she had a special close relationship, Terri Lukin; and 13 great-grandchildren.
