Wanda Lee Titus of Belton, MO, died after complications from surgery, Thursday, August 4, 2011, at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 20 days. Her husband, Lloyd Titus, preceded her in death in Nov. 1992. She was born on Nov. 14, 1928 in KC, MO to parents Chester B. and Ethel J. (Dawson) Lofflin and graduated from Wyandotte High School in KC, KS. She was a business woman after studying shorthand and typing, and retired from the MO Drivers License Bureau in 1998. In 1954 she moved to Platte County and resided there 50 years before moving to Pickering Place in Belton, MO where she was the volunteer treasurer for 7 years. She is survived by 2 children, 5 stepchildren, 17 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren; daughter Deborah (Masters) Rockford and husband Bob; son Wes Masters and wife Pat, all of KC, MO; 1 stepdaughter Debbie Sue (Titus) Bettes and husband Doug, of Lenexa, KS; 4 stepsons, Larry Titus and wife Jan of Lenexa, KS; Floyd Titus and wife Sue of MN; Ron Titus and wife Jan of WA; Glen Titus and wife Betty of VA; and loving sister Donna Jene (Lofflin) Benton of Belton, MO. Visitation will be held Monday, August 8, 2011 from 12:30-1:30 PM at D.W. Newcomers Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS with services immediately following; burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
