Wanda Lea Zabel, age 71, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Wednesday, 10/31/2012. Wanda was born on 12/4/1940 in Rochester, NY to Norman and Marian Votry.
Wanda was married to Mike Zabel in Rochester, NY on 6/16/1966, they moved to the San Fernando Valley in CA where they had 2 children, Amy and Adam. Wanda was a member of many organizations and enjoyed giving to others, loving her family, and playing pool.
Wanda will be remembered by her loving husband and their children; daughter, Amy (Alan) Nordstrom of Woodland Hills, CA and son, Adam (Christine) Zabel of Lenexa, KS. She is also survived by her brother, Peter (Jeanne) Votry of Rochester, NY; and grandchildren, Katie, Nathan, and Eryn.
