Wauneta Bondank, 95, Leawood, KS, passed away, Friday, July 4, 2008 at her home.
Services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, July 9 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM prior to the service. The family will have a reception immediately following the services at First Baptist church of Overland Park, 8200 W. 96th Street.
Wauneta was born November 21, 1912 in Boone County, Arkansas, the daughter of George Kleveland and Lola Bell (Price) Arthur. Wauneta worked for Bethany Hospital Medical Records in the 1950?s, was a Realtor for Hosch Realtors in the 1960?s and also volunteered for over 20 years at Chelsea Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS. She married Joseph C. Bondank on April 16, 1981 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. During her marriage to Joe, they loved to travel the United States, including many car trips. She loved to attend as many sporting events and school events of her great grandchildren. Her love of God and family is what made her such a strong and loving women. She always did anything she could to help her family.
Preceding her in death was her husband, in 1995. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Juiliano and husband Marvin, grandchildren, Susan Duncan, Joyce Donnely, Raymond Juiliano, Danielle Frank, Donalda McLaughlin, sister, Florence Gilson and husband Gene, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
