Wilford Chambers

Wilford “Bill” E. Chambers, 92, passed away November 10, 2016.  He was born February 7, 1924 in Overland Park, KS, the son of Hubert and Dolly (Wolfe) Chambers.  He was born on a farm which today is located right by St. Luke’s in Overland Park.  He married Martha H. Rothganger on March 27, 1948 at the Overland Park Assembly of God. They met in church.  He started work at Hudson Oil in 1949 which became Fisca Oil where he worked for 58 years. Preceding him in death was his twin brother, Wilbert Chambers in 1998.  Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Martha and a host of nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf with a funeral at the chapel at 1:00 PM on Monday.  Burial will be at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.    The family suggest contributions to Pastors 411, PO Box 19510, Lenexa, KS. 66285.  Fond memories and on line condolences may left at www.johnsoncounty.com.
