William E. ? Bill? Erickson 87, Mission, KS passed away May 1, 2007 at Shawnee Gardens.
Mr. Erickson was born November 10, 1919 in Verona, MO. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the 538th Fighter Squadron of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Two sisters, Lillian Heinen and Vivian Davis precede him in death. His wife of 61 years Ulla Erickson, daughter Sheila (Merle) Ramseier, of Topeka, son Russ (Julie) Erickson of Shawnee, and grandsons Eric (Sarah) Ramseier of Ypsilanti, MI, Michael (Sara) Ramseier of Topeka, Richard Erickson of Shawnee and Brendan (Lora) Ramseier of Bloomington, IN survive him.
Funeral services will be 1PM Friday May 4th at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be 6PM - 8PM Thursday May 3rd at the chapel. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
