William R. (Bill) Bock, 53, of Overland Park, Kansas, died May 8, 2007, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Bill was born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1954. He was a 1972 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School and then in 1979 completed his Bachelor?s degree at Kansas State University, majoring in business administration. He worked as an insurance value appraiser which gave him the opportunity to travel to many cities in the United States. Bill was an active member of the St. George Church, serving on its Building Committee for close to fifteen years. A footprint on the lives of many people both young and old has been left by Bill. His humor, dubbed ?Bock-isms, will truly be missed. If ever there was a ?good man,? it was Bill Bock.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lillianna ?Seja;? his devoted mother and friend, Jean; his dear Aunt Claire and Uncle Bob; three sisters; two brothers; twenty-four sisters-and-brothers ?in-law;? twenty-five nieces and nephews; fifty-seven members of his extended family; and a multitude of Kumovi and friends. May his memory be eternal ? Vjecnaja Pamjat.
