William ?Bill? Deweese Meginn, Jr., age 67, Bucyrus, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Menorah Medical Center.
A celebration of Bill?s life will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16th at the First Baptist Church of Stilwell, 199th & Metcalf. Holding true to Bill?s giving nature, it was his desire to donate his body to the University of Kansas Hospital for the benefit of others. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill?s name are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas 66202, (913-262-1551).
Bill was born October 6, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas. He loved computers, carpentry, and genealogy. He was preceded in death by his parents, two half-brothers, and a niece.
Survivors include his wife Michele; daughter Renee Mathis, son-in-law Toby Mathis, and granddaughters Tempest, Tiffany, and Toby Michele. Also surviving are daughter, Pauline Meginn, grandson Jason Reyes, and son William A. Meginn. A special Aunt, Betty Jones; special cousins, Carol Linville, Ralph & Sherry Meginn; two half-sisters, two half-brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive Bill.
