William (Bud) Otto Mitchum, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel on Monday, September 24, 2012. A Service will be held 10 am Tuesday, September 25, also at the Johnson County Chapel. Burial to follow in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
Bud was the president and owner of a metal fabricating manufacturer which his father started in 1928.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine. Survivors include; daughter Diane Speer, son Buddy and his wife Sharon Mitchum, and son Robert Mitchum. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Homestead of Olathe Assisted Living, 751 N. Somerset Terrace, Olathe, KS 66062.
