William Walker, Jr

William Jones Walker, Jr. 1937-2018 (age 81) went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on October 21, 2018, surrounded by his family. He spent his entire life loving God and his family. Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Walker; daughter, Lorene Detzner; daughter, Michelle Walker; son, Lance Walker; daughter, Molly Hartweger. Thirteen grandchildren: Jonathan Detzner, Megan Tuckey, Mindy Laury, William Walker III, Mandy Inglis, Lance Walker, Jr., Marta Rose Detzner, McKenzie Walker, Morgan Detzner, Mary Shelby Hartweger, Hunter Hartweger, Charlotte Hartweger, Molly K. Hartweger and many loving great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 25th at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. There will be a visitation time from 10:00-11:00 am and a service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Faith Baptist Church, 2111 Kuser Road, Hamilton New Jersey 08690.
