William Joseph Winslow was born October 12, 1955 in St. Louis, MO and passed away May 29, 2021. Bill’s family moved to Overland Park when he was a seventh grader, and that year he met Diana Beeler, whom he married in 1979.
Bill’s degree from KU in international economics led him to a career as a sales analysis and marketing strategy expert for 20 years with Sprint North Supply, 10 years with Black & Veatch and 15 years as an independent business consultant.
An active alumni of KU’s Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, Bill enthusiastically supported the recent re-structuring of the house.
He was a die-hard supporter of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and a true Jayhawk fan.
A lover of upland game bird hunting, Bill was undoubtedly the best-dressed gentleman on opening day as he walked the fields with his beloved Weimaraners. A few years later, a little Dachshund named JujuBee stole his heart.
Everyone would say that Bill was the funniest man they’d ever known. He never ceased to amaze with his silly antics and his kindnesses to everyone. He saw the humor in life, wasn’t afraid to embrace it and encouraged others to do the same.
Bill is survived by Diana, his wife of 42 years, sister Mary Winslow (George Dugger), brother John Winslow, Diana's 3 sisters and brother and the extended Beeler family who absolutely adored him.
