William “Bill” H. Denison, 76, Overland Park, passed away Monday June 29, 2015 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. A visitation will be held 5:30 to 7:30 pm Thursday July 2, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. There will be a private family graveside service. The family suggest contributions in memory of Bill to the American Disabled Veterans Association in care of the funeral home. Bill was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on December 9, 1938 and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1968 after he graduated from Emporia State College with Bachelor’s degree in Business. Bill worked for Time Warner and other sales positions for 25 years before he retired. He was a member of the American Legion Post 153 in Olathe. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Grace (Hanson) Denison. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Denison of the home, five cousins; John (Pam) Denison of Helotes, Texas, Anne (John) Jackson of Baldwin City, KS and Carol (Jerry) Choate of Tahlequah, OK, Gary Hanson, Overland Park, KS and Betty Jean Hanson, Grove, OK. and a host of many friends.
