Wilma J. Vincent, 81, Kansas City, MO, passed away on June 17, 2017 at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Wilma was born on July 30, 1935, in Kansas City, KS to Ted and Mildred Pollock. She was an Administrative Assistant for Kansas City Valve and Fitting Company 30 years. Wilma enjoyed making and donating quilts to Children’s Mercy Hospital and making felt Christmas stockings for family and countless friends. She was an avid crafter of many different medias. Wilma also loved playing the piano and organ, but her favorite thing was to spend time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen M. Wright; and both of her husbands, Abner Huffman and John Vincent.
Wilma is survived by her son, Terry L. Huffman; son-in-law, Scott Arnold; son-in-law, Harry Giacone; Grandsons, Jason (Sierra) Huffman, and Steven (Jessica) Giacone; 4 great-grandchildren; and a daughter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, 11am, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210.
