WM. Kent Keltner

Kent Keltner, 59, Overland Park, passed away April 12, 2015. Kent was born on July 17, 1955 and lived his first 50 years in Westwood, KS before moving to The Forum of Overland Park in 2005. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School.
Kent, always smiling, never let his disability affect his zest for life. He was a member of Woodside Health & Tennis Club for over 35 years where he swam and enjoyed “happy hour” every Wednesday with his friends. The Royals, Chiefs and K-State football were his passion and he followed the sports pages every day. Bingo at The Forum was never missed. The family would like to thank The Forum caregivers for their wonderful support and care of Kent.
Kent was preceded in passing by his parents; Glen and Blanche Keltner. He is survived by his sister, Trish Vaughan; brother-in-law, Stan Vaughan; cousins, Beverlee Thompson and Lou Strasser and their children. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those who were lucky enough to know him.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30PM, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas. A visitation will begin at 1:30PM, Thursday, also in the chapel. Private family interment will take place in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
