Mrs. Yvonne Robinson

Yvonne B. Robinson, age 70, Merriam, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007.
Yvonne was born February 28, 1937 to Alvin & Clarabel (Eldridge) Scott in Jacksonville, Illinois. She was united in marriage to James L. Robinson in 1954. She retired from GE Capital where she worked as a customer service representative. Yvonne was a member of Antioch Church of the Nazarene and the Ladies Auxillary of VFW Post #846 where she volunteered her time. She was a gracious, gentle person, and like Will Rogers, never met a person she didn?t like and said to ?Love Life?. Yvonne?s children were the most important thing in her life and loved them with all her heart.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James L. Robinson; daughter, Susan Ann Rice and her husband Kevin; daughter, Karen Lea Bush, her husband Ron, and their children Katrina Camber, Gregory Bush, and Kimberly Bush; great-grandchildren Matthew and Maya Camber; daughter, Robin Diane Robinson and her children Dustin and Rachel. Also surviving are her sister, Sharon Wellenreiter, and brother, Myron Scott.
A Celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16th at Antioch Church of the Nazarene, 7600 Antioch, Overland Park, Kansas, with a gathering of family and friends 12:00 ? 1:00 p.m. at church preceding the service. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
