Zachary Lewis Heston of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 after a long fight with brain cancer surrounded by his family.
Zack was born on July 2, 1987 in Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Heston and his children, Tristan Heston and Grace Heston; Step-children Olivia Hatchel and Lauren Hatchel.
Zack enjoyed working on his trucks. He was always there to help someone in need if they needed help on their vehicles.
He loved to fish and hunt. Some of his special times hunting and fishing were with his Grandfather, Eddie.
Zack also loved to garden and he loved to listen to music. He also loved to go to his Dad’s house and play pool volleyball and regular pool.
Zack was so proud of his family and he loved his family so much. His children were so important to him.
On January 9, 2019, Zack accepted Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savior.
He is also survived by his Father, Todd Heston, Step-Mom Vicky Heston and Mother, Deborah Wilson along with his Brother and Sisters, Brandy Heston (Keith Warren); Michelle Burgess (Micah); Nicole Danley (Sam); James Heston (Lee Ann Coady); Jeremy Heston (Ashley); Travis Heston (fiancé, Jennifer) and Doug DeFranco. Along with 16 nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his sister Jennifer DeFranco.
He is also survived by his Grandmothers, Dorothy Nelson and Lorraine Crayne and mother-in-law, Faye Devosha along with Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death are his Grandparents, Mert Crayne, Eddie Nelson, Jim Glaze and Inez Glaze and his father-in-law, Joseph Devosha, Jr..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Crossroads Christian Church, 5855 Renner Road, Shawnee, KS 66217.
The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the Memorial will begin at 11:00 a.m.
The family would like to thank all of you who have helped Zack with his battle with cancer by giving their time, support, donations, love and prayers.
