Zella Tolbard

Zella Frances Tolbard (92) of Lee's Summit, Missouri went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 28th surrounded by her family.

A native of Fairmont, West Virginia, Zella was the eldest of six children born to John Offutt and Grace Collins Offutt. She was married to the love of her life, Race Eugene Tolbard for 53 years prior to his passing. Race and Zella had three children, Alan E. Tolbard and Sandra L. Tolbard (Keeth) and Son-In-Law Mitchell (Mike) Keeth who preceded her in death and Diane Tolbard (Weddington) and son-in-law John L. Weddington of the home.

Surviving are Grandson David B. Keeth and wife Gloria, Granddaughter Stephanie Strain and Kevin, Great Granddaughter Lauren Strain (Amann) and Jeff, Great-great grandson Phillip, Great Granddaughter Kennedy Strain, Granddaughter Carissa Keeth (Brown) and Donnie, Great Granddaughters Melissa and Samantha Brown.

A warm and loving woman who always had a smile and a word of encouragement for anyone she met, Zella's girlish giggle was as infectious as her smile. She knew no strangers. Family and friends will miss her teasing laughter and giving ways.
