Kathleen Gould

Kathleen Gould, 99, of Leawood, Kansas left this world on September 20, 2020.  She fell short of her 100th birthday by just 20 days. She leaves behind her son Craig (Billie), daughter Sherry, and grandchildren Jason and Tina.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob of 60 years.

Kathleen was born in Checotah, OK on October 10, 1920 to Arlie and Della Curnutt. She was an only child. She and Bob were married on February 24, 1940 and traveled the world from South America to the Great Wall of China. No telling how many cruises they went on, one for as long as 30 days. She never worked outside the home, but worked hard to be a good wife, mother and homemaker.

The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Sunrise of Overland Park and Ascend Hospice for the kind and loving care they gave her over the last two years.
